According to the Guardian, Real Madrid have always been pursuing Eden Hazard - who they see as the latest Galactico - and will attempt to sign both him and his teammate Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea this summer.

With both players having already won a Premier League title and closing in on a second, the sole remaining major target for each of them will be lifting the European Cup.

But according to The Sun, Chelsea are willing to strengthen Hazard's contract.

Kylian Mbappe, the Monaco striker linked with a £130m move to Man Utd in the summer, made his France debut against Luxembourg on Saturday, becoming the second youngest global for Les Blues since the war.

The Belgian 'keeper's current deal at Stamford Bridge expires in 2019.

24-year-old Courtois has once again excelled between the sticks after a tough season last time out, although that could be said of the majority of the Blues squad.

Among the millions applauding Hazard's genius would have been Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, who has long expressed his admiration for Hazard and now reportedly wants to make him a Galactico. Reports say that the Los Blancos are ready to pay a fee of around £100 million for him in order to tempt Chelsea into selling him.

"Fantastic players like him can fit in at any club, they will always find a place, I don't see any problem with that". Hazard is said to be keen on a move to Real Madrid, and on Sunday it was claimed the Belgian global is learning Spanish.
