In the image here we've got a gold phone, but it's likely that Motorola will release the handset with multiple colors available if gold isn't your thing. The Moto Z2 Force will be the successor to Motorola´s most popular smartphone the Moto Z Force. While the phone can't be seen from all angles in this single image, what can be seen is a familiar design to the old Moto Z Play albeit with a few refinements and touch ups to the style. However, the home button has changed.

Seemingly official-looking Moto Z2 Play renders have now surfaced online, with the sequel to Moto Z2 looking pretty slick and similar to its predecessor. The USP of the mid-range Moto Z Play was its battery life. Moto Z2 Play is expected to pack an SoC somewhere around the Qualcomm SD 652 series, a mid-quality display with lower resolution than in Moto Z2 Force. Going by the company's history, Motorola usually schedules the update release for the latest flagship releases in this case the Moto G5 and G5 Plus. In addition to Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus and the entry range represented by Moto C, one of the lines of smartphones that will receive a fresh air will be the family of Moto Z devices. Of course, the Moto Z2 Play is not identical to its predecessor.

Notably, the source did not reveal anything about Moto Z2 Play's specs and features. Last year's model came with a 3,510 mAh battery, which, paired with its 1080p screen, made for a long-lasting phone. Instead of keeping the thicker design from previous year, Lenovo appears to be making the Z2 Play as thin as the rest of the Moto Z2 lineup. We hope we'll know more soon. There is a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera on board.
