Arsenal are determined not to approve a sale to a Premier League rival, having seen a wealth of their top stars move across England in recent years, but risk losing Alexis on a free transfer next summer if they don't approve a sale at the end of the season.
Wenger made similar comments before he sanctioned the sale of Robin van Persie to Manchester United in 2012 and it is inconceivable that Arsenal will not cash in on Sanchez this summer if he confirms he will not sign a new contract with the north London club.
One of them claimed that by the end of April or early May, Alexis Sanchez will have told Arsenal he's not staying, but he'll remain in England.
Chelsea & PSG have entered into negotiations with Alexis Sanchez's entourage, according to @mohamedbouhafsi.
Sanchez has put Chelsea at the top of the list of clubs he wants to join but faces a battle with Arsenal to make the move happen.
Hazard, on the other hand, has been linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window. Alexis Sanchez is perhaps the closest in terms of skill-set to Eden Hazard now in the Premier League and would be an ideal replacement, if the Belgian does depart.More news: Mike Pence breaks tie as Senate passes anti-Planned Parenthood bill
As it turns out, that club may not be in the Premier League.
"I think it is disrespectful for the club, for my players". The French outfit is looking for quality player to lead their attack and while Edinson Cavani has done a good job, Zlatan is still sorely missed by the defending champions.
The radio station also considers a move to France more likely for Sanchez than one across London because Arsenal, who purchased Sanchez from Barcelona in 2014, would not be willing to aid a Premier League rival.
If the Chile global can not be convinced to extend, Merson does not think Chelsea's status as a rival club would stop Arsene Wenger from selling, given he would be desperate to avoid losing him for nothing the following year.
The figure, though, is unlikely to deter anyone.
