A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department tells ET that during a traffic stop conducted in Hollywood, law enforcement noticed that the 27-year-old rapper's Mercedes G-Wagon had only paper plates.

However, TMZ has since reported that Tyga was not under the influence, and he got away with just a ticket. News reported. After the cops pulled him over for a routine traffic stop, they chose to give him a sobriety test for a possible DUI. Tyga was driving his brand new Mercedes G-Series, but without the necessary license plates.

"They're not broken up", a source told Us Weekly.

TMZ reports the rapper was only taken into custody to avoid making a scene outside of the club. He was then guided to the police auto by an officer and handcuffed before being placed in the rear of the vehicle.
