Kylian Mbappe was in impressive form for Monaco this season.
Mbappe, dubbed the new Thierry Henry, has been linked to Real Madrid and Manchester United and it would be hard for Monaco to resist an eye-watering offer for the 18-year-old.
The 18-year-old was named Ligue 1's Young Player of the Year after scoring 15 goals to help Monaco win the title.
Fabinho, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Bernardo Silva and Radamel Falcao have also been touted as potential summer departures from the Stade Louis II, with the first three reportedly interesting Premier League clubs and Falcao mooted as a recruit for Chinese sides.
In a lengthy interview with L'Equipe, Rybolovlev had it put to him that it'll be hard to keep his stars at Monaco this summer, and he told the French newspaper: "We are not here to decide in the place of men, block them, tell them yes or no".More news: Chromatics played "Shadow" in Twin Peaks premiere ++ watch the new opening credits
'In business, if you go against the market and against the trends, you will always lose.
'And I will be the sole decision-maker, and I will not go anywhere where I will be forced to go'.
'You know, (Anthony) Martial, it was he who wanted to leave and we can understand'. United should be able to offer first team appearances pretty much from the start, given Zlatan Ibrahimovic is unlikely to be kept on - despite United's wishes - and because Marcus Rashford isn't enough to lead the line for a whole season.
"This club [Monaco] has given me all its confidence, I need to give back a title at least".
Vasilyev added: "We'll talk in the coming days and will offer him an extension".
Monaco owner Dmitry Rybolovlev has revealed that he won't stand in the way of any players that want to leave the club.
