2017 NFL Draft: How does the Jaguars offense change with Deshaun Watson?

The Texans selected Watson in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, 12th overall. The Texans also surrendered their 2018 first-round pick to the Browns.

Watson shared photos on social media of a new Jaguar he bought her for her birthday, which he said was her "first official vehicle".

Right now, there's no telling if the Clemson star will sit behind Tom Savage and learn the Houston offense or if he will be thrown into the fire. It doesn't hurt that he'll have a very good group of pass catchers waiting for him in Houston.

Watson's leadership and work ethic were also factor's in the Texans' decision to trade up for him, and Smith thinks that will help Watson get up to speed.

The Jacksonville Jaguars may have lost confidence in Blake Bortles after the quarterback's down season in 2016, but are they desperate enough to draft his replacement with the No. 4 overall pick?

With Williams and Watson being selected among the first 12 players, it is the first time any school has had a quarterback and wide receiver chosen among the first 12 selections.

"Learn from the veteran guys, play whatever role I have", Watson said in his introductory press conference on Friday.

"They're going to look back in two or three years and they're going to be like, 'Holy cow, we had a chance to get [Watson], and we didn't take him'". "I only know what I know, and that's only a little bit", Watson told Florio. "I'm going to take care of her for sure". In doing so, Houston exhausted its first-round pick in next year's draft.

Watson led Clemson to a national championship this past season over the Alabama Crimson Tide. "He can play on the inside in a couple of different of packages for us". The team brought him in for a pre-draft visit and held a meeting with him at the NFL Combine.
