In Clarksville, Tennessee, seven bounty hunters were arrested in early May and charged with 16 offenses, including murder, after they shot and killed a fugitive who was wanted for a probation violation and trying to escape in his auto.

Minnesota bounty hunters tracked Hutchinson to Texas and called in Corpus Christi based Fidel Garcia Jr.to track him.

Peters says Hutchinson had been sought since March when he failed to appear for court in Hennepin County.

According to Greenville Police, the pair pulled out guns and began giving Hutchinson orders.

The video, recorded by a bystander and obtained by the city of Greenville, shows Garcia and Bernal holding up their guns as they corner Hutchinson in a glassed in office on the showroom floor.

Twenty shots were fired in about six seconds, according to a statement from Kathy Lucas, a spokeswoman for the city.

The men waited for over two hours before Hutchinson appeared with the woman around 7:00 in the evening. They do have the authority to make arrests but only with written authorization from a bail bondsman.

"We referred the case to them once we found probable cause that Mr. Hutchinson could be in Texas", Peters said.

Police said two men with F.N.G.

"I've been told that the two gentleman approached him with handcuffs and were going to try to arrest him and that's when the shooting started", Ford said.

A check of state licensing for private investigators maintained by The Texas Department of Public Safety indicates Garcia and Bernal were listed as "commissioned security officers". The two men initially said they were federal agents, but may have been bounty hunters, Ford said.

Not much is known about Bernal and Garcia.

"He always performed his investigations with the utmost integrity", Peters said, adding that Garcia commonly wore both audio and visual recording devices while working.

"He was just really shady", Buck said.
