What does that hint at? It also showed a blue stylus, a key feature of Samsung's Note line. The Galaxy J7 2017 also features a fingerprint sensor embedded under the physical home button. But judging by the number of leaks we've seen in the past few days, it may launch in the coming weeks, at least in China. It is still unclear if these numbers will be bumped up, but it wouldn't be surprising to see a jump in RAM to 6GB, given that some devices like the OnePlus 5 already offer this.

Samsung has always been rumored to be working on the successor to last year's disaster, Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 and Galaxy J7 2017 are the official successors to the Galaxy A3 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016.

The Note 8 is expected to launch on 23 August, but Samsung is yet to officially confirm the event or send out invitations.

Analysts are optimistic about the return of the Note series, given Samsung's recent string of success with the launch of the Galaxy S8 and strong sales of the re-engineered Note 7, branded as the Note Fan Edition, or FE. The Note 8 is expected to have a very high screen to body ratio, perhaps even higher than the 83% mark set by the Galaxy S8 family of devices.

According to design render by BGR, the Galaxy Note 8 could feature a horizontally aligned high-end dual rear camera setup.

Where is the Galaxy Note 8 livestream?

The smartphone will launch with company's Exynos 8895 processor in select markets.

Onsen didn't release any more details about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 other than its possible price, but for a jump above the Samsung Galaxy Note 7's £749, we'd expect more to be thrown in, no more so than a revamped battery. The company confirmed the arrival of the new handset and announced its official launch date.
