Shadow of Mordor's/War's signature nemesis system is created to supplement the game's narrative with procedurally generated enemies that give each player his or her own personal story. Simply put, it's a neat way to carry over the story into the new game if you played the first game. Players made a lot of progress in Shadow of Mordor, and now, thanks to a new update, that progress will continue in Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. The sale will remain available until July 10 for Steam, July 17 on Xbox One, and July 19 on PS4.

According to a trailer for the feature, the game will automatically identify your top foe and follower - no word if you can override this and select your own desired Nemesis/follower. If you're interested in getting Shadow of War, now is the best time to check out the original title and port your nemesis and ally over.
