The Texans have been using the Cowboys' facility at The Star to practice this week, and the two teams' preseason contest - original slated to be played in Houston - was relocated to AT&T Stadium.
"[Texans players] have a great opportunity and platform to go back and pour into the city and check in on their own families and get involved in the community and rally it in a lot of ways", tight end Jason Witten said.
Robert, Janice, Cal and Hannah McNair will make a donation equal to the money that would have been generated from ticket sales from Thursday's preseason game in Arlington to recovery and relief efforts.

After the Texans played their preseason game in New Orleans last weekend, they went to North Texas instead of home after the storm.
"There's more important things than football right now", Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee said. Since the Cowboys played in the Hall of Fame Game on August 3, they have played in the customary four preseason games already.
That's a surprising decision because the National Football League had specifically stated that the game would go on, in Dallas, where the Texans have been practicing all week after they were displaced by Hurricane Harvey.
