Member of National Assembly Ayesha Gulalai, who has left the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after levelling allegations against Imran Khan, has now sent separate letters to the Federal Interior Ministry and Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which she sought security against threats and adverse measures by various elements.
On by-polls in NA-120 Khan said that he and his party is ready to tackle rigging by PML-N.

An hour later he tweeted again: "There was no marriage proposal as such to Ayesha Gulalai as she herself said in Asma Shirazi's show, just a discussion". "I suspect that the [PMLN] has used her against me", Khan told broadcaster ARY. Khan claimed that Gulalai made allegations against Imran at Muqam and Reham's behest.
The announcement, four days after the Supreme Court disqualified Sharif over undeclared income he denies having received, in a case Khan brought before the court, prompted PTI supporters to accuse her of working for the ruling party. He suspected the PML-N had used Gulalai and their "old smear tactics" to achieve their own ends.
Her allegations forced the MNA's former party to serve her a show-cause notice on Wednesday. "She was there with the NA-1 delegation; we discussed the seat as she wanted a ticket and asked me to let her campaign there". I thought she had a lot of potential.; she performed very well in the beginning. She said that she would present all evidence if summoned by the parliamentary committee, formed to probe allegations by her against the PTI chairman.
