HTC has just confirmed Android Oreo (Android 8.0) timeline for its smartphones. Pixel and Nexus users will be among the first to get the new update, which is not surprising at all. Oreo is Google's new operating system and it said to completely revolutionize the Android user experience.
One of the main issues that users have with the update is with Android Auto, which helps users connect their phone to cars. " The HTC U11 is the new flagship from the company with the squeezable edges on the side, and as the tweet makes it clear this will be the first to get the Android 8.0 update".
Notable aspect of the Android Oreo is the Rescue Party feature, which helps device to recover from constant bootloops.

Android Oreo mainly focuses on battery life, speed and security, with greater control of apps. Oreo is pretty much the only choice for an "O" dessert that's broadly and instantly recognizable, however, so it seems like it was nearly inevitable. Google introduced app shortcuts in Android Nougat, where you could access shortcuts for frequently performed action on supported apps by long pressing the app icon on your home screen or the app drawer.
The Android 8.0 Oreo Pixel Launcher 2.1 offers a handful of modifications. The update introduced few system enhancements but does not bring along any noticeable change.
Pixel, Nexus 5X, and Nexus 5P device owners will receive the update "soon", as mentioned by Google.
