Officials said no tickets in the United States hit on all five Powerball lotto numbers in Wednesday night's draw.
June 10 was the last time someone won the jackpot, which was $447.8 million.
That ended Friday, when a ticket in IL matched all Mega Millions numbers, making it worth an estimated $393 million, the fifth largest in the game's history.More news: Toyota, Mazda mull joint plant in US
Some lucky people across the country are taking home smaller prizes.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Powerball website.
The next drawing is on Saturday. The largest Powerball jackpot ever was $1.6 billion that was split three ways in January 2016. Players have roughly a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to win the second prize of at least $1 million. The current record holder is Donald Lawson of Lapeer, who won a $337 million Powerball jackpot on August 15, 2012.
The cash option would pay you more than $324 million. It has had many $2 million winners, however, and others have won smaller prizes.
