"We've been experimenting with a better way to share videos on YouTube since previous year", explains YouTube in a blog post.

YouTube on its blog stated that "Starting from today, you can share videos with your friends and family directly on YouTube".

Also, YouTube has also embedded a "Shared" tab at the bottom of the app that allows users to share the videos with their contacts and keep track of their conversations. Now the feature is enabled for all users of the YouTube application on smartphones, but is not available on the desktop version of the site.

Perhaps best of all, though, it also gives users a dedicated space to privately chat about videos outside of YouTube's notoriously troll-ridden comments.

The videos also show gang members describing how they would murder rivals, with shooting hand signals and waving a "Rambo knife" to a soundtrack of violent rap.

Gun crime offences in London surged by 42 per cent in the last year - from 1,793 offences from April 2015 until April 2016 to 2,544 the following year. It also offers an option of inviting users to motivate them into using the feature.

Google has rolled out this feature globally to serve its goal of developing a social-friendly platform which ultimately, would help YouTube.

Users can start one-on-one chats or group chats with up to 30 people, in which they can watch shared videos without leaving the thread.

YouTube has announced that it is now rolling out its in-app direct messaging feature worldwide. The Share panel now features a carousel up top of your YouTube contacts for immediate sending.

Along with the YouTube video sharing and chatting, the YouTube users can reply to the videos they receive the other videos.

Unfortunately, the YouTube app doesn't actually know whether or not a user's contact on the phone book is using YouTube with a signed-in account. This still does not compare with other usual messaging apps.

A blog post from yesterday outlines the expanded icon system: creators could see one of three new symbols next to each video.

The green and black icons make it clear which videos are totally acceptable in YouTube's eyes and which are not, however the yellow icon is a bit more nebulous.
