The Mi Mix 2 will run Android 8.0 Oreo, which is surprising because Xiaomi recently released the MIUI 9 on top of Android 7.0 Nougat. The live image shows the Mi Mix 2 with tri bezel-less design. In comparison, last year's Mi MIX featured a 6.4-inch screen.
Besides this, the screenshots also reveal the presence of 4400mAh battery in the Mi Mix 2, along with a 20MP rear camera. The post claimed that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will come with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 chipset, featuring a large 6-inch OLED panel, manufactured by Samsung. While there has not been any official word from Qualcomm regarding the launch of the processor, the 836 is expected to be a slightly more powerful version of the 835.
Xiaomi's Mi Mix 2 appeared in the news a few months ago. The photo was posted on Twitter, confirming to Xiaomi followers that the upcoming Mi Mix will follow the current trend of maximizing the screen display by lessening the bezels.More news: Xbox One Discontinued By Microsoft
CEO Lei Jun admitted that Xiaomi had grown too fast when looking at its 2016 results, but this year it seems to have found its rhythm with impressive sales growth and a recent $1 billion loan to put the focus back on its global growth, which had stalled in recent times with little sign of success outside of China. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will sport really thin bezels, based on leaks, it will not sport any bezels on the sides, or above its display, but it will ship with a small "chin" below the display. The bezels are much thinner, with the display borders almost touching the border. We'll get to know for sure on September 11 when it is officially unveiled.
The leaked specifications further reveal that Xiaomi Mi 7 will come in two variants - 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM. However, there might be a secondary sensor at the back of the Mi Mix 2 because several rumours tipped at a dual camera setup for the Mix 2.
