22, Trevorrow unveiled the footage on social media. The secretive sequel to 2015's Jurassic World finished filming over the summer, but good luck finding any details beyond a handful of returning actors and a bigger handful of newbies, most of whom will probably get eaten by dinosaurs before the credits roll.
"From our Jurassic family to yours", Trevorrow tweeted a day ahead of Thanksgiving, with the accompanying teaser clip showing a charmed Owen Brady (Pratt) chin-petting a purring baby raptor. But it's still a nice moment, with Pratt's Owen Grady sharing a tender moment with what appears to be a baby velociraptor. Moreover, Owen can also be seen wearing a gauntlet that is used for training dinosaurs, so this could be how it all started for Owen and Blue.More news: UCLA Basketball Players Thank President Trump as They Return to US Soil
Trevorrow co-wrote the script for Fallen Kingdom, which will be directed by J.A. Bayona. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and BD Wong will reprise their roles and are joined by newcomers Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, and James Cromwell.
The plot has been kept under wraps but there have been some hints on what to expect in the movie. The first proper trailer for the Jurassic World sequel is right around the corner and is slated to begin screening in US theaters with select prints of Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi next month.
The sequel trilogy will have another film after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom but the film's title and release date is yet to be announced.
