AAP understands Bancroft has discussed the matter with team management, who are satisfied he did no wrong in the scrap.
Crossing paths: Cameron Bancroft works the ball away with Jonny Bairstow behind the stumps. Bancroft is a resident of Perth while the England team was in Perth for their first practice game of the tour.
Already they are without arguably their best player, Ben Stokes, with the all-rounder awaiting the outcome of a police investigation into his conduct during a brawl outside a Bristol nightclub in September.
Bancroft, who is from Western Australia, lives in Perth.
In a statement the European Central Bank said: "At close of play in Brisbane today, we were made aware of allegations of an incident in Perth four weeks ago".
Jonny Bairstow, the England wicketkeeper-batsman, has come under investigation following reports on Sunday (November 26) of a late-night incident with Cameron Bancroft, the new Australia opening batsman, around three weeks ago.

It is claimed there was an incident in a bar in Perth during England's pre-series tour match against Cricket Australia.
The Bairstow incident is potentially another major setback for an England side that is nearly certain to head to Adelaide one down in the five-match series.
European Central Bank on Sunday released a statement after discussions with their wicketkeeper-batsman in which they came close to exonerating Bairstow while adding that they will conclude their investigations after the first Test. The incident allegedly took place earlier this month at a Perth hotel bar while England were in town for a tour match, reports said. Bancroft became the 451st player to play for Australia when he took field on Day One of the first Ashes Test at The Gabba, Brisbane.
But he was one of three England players fined by the European Central Bank in the wake of a night out in Bristol that saw Ben Stokes arrested for alleged assault.
Australia Test squad: Steve Smith (c), David Warner (vc), Cameron Bancroft, Usman Khawaja, Peter Handscomb, Shaun Marsh, Tim Paine (wk), Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood, Jackson Bird, Chadd Sayers. We certainly don't want to keep players in their rooms because it is a long tour.More news: Jurgen Klopp: 'Mohamed Salah has nothing to prove to Chelsea'
