With Google Assistant for Android (Go edition), Google said people will be able to quickly send messages, make calls or set alarms, with their voice and a single touch of the screen.
The Files Go app is also said to create a closed network that can be accessible only by approved smartphones in any particular area to share files by creating a hotspot.

Speaking of which, Android Oreo (Go edition) is expected to arrive with a total of nine apps pre-installed including Google Go, Google Assistant Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go, Gboard, Google Play, Chrome, and Files Go. Files Go was built from scratch for Go edition devices, and today the official version launched on the Google Play Store. However, that is not all that Google announced.
