Xiaomi India's two-day "No. 1 Mi Fan Sale" has gone live on Wednesday, with offers on a variety of new smartphones, mobile accessories, smart home gadgets, and other non-tech accessories. The two-day New Year and Christmas sale will start at 12 pm on 20 December in India.

The Xiaomi India MD also said that the company has notched up record sales this year in India, including sales of four million handsets in the one month period of Diwali, which is the first-ever for any smartphone brand in India. The new Redmi 5 and 5 Plus smartphones are expected to hit the Indian market soon specially since the company brought the Special Edition Red colour variant of its Mi A smartphone - targeting it just for the holiday season - in India within a week of its worldwide debut. Moreover, according to MIUI forums moderator, Xiaomi has dropped the Note moniker for its budget devices, and it's unclear what will happen to the supposed Redmi 4X successor known as the Redmi 5. Xiaomi also plans to not raise smartphone prices after the government has recently increased the import duty to 15 percent from 10 percent. It is also offering three months of subscription for Hungama Play and 12 months for Hungama Music. At the ₹1 sale, you can buy a Redmi 5A Gold Edition (2GB 16GB), a Redmi Y1 Lite Gold Edition (2GB 16GB), a Mi Wi-Fi Repeater 2 (White), a Mi VR Play 2 (Dark Grey), a Mi Router 3C (White), or a Mi Band (HRX Edition - Black). The Redmi Y1 Lite is priced at Rs. 6,998. The users may also avail MobiKwik offer of Supercash up to Rs. 4,000. Other offers include the Mi Mix 2 for ₹32,999 (original price is ₹35,999), the Mi Max 2 for ₹12,999 (down from ₹14,999), and the Redmi 4 and the Redmi Note 4 both offering discounts of ₹1,000. Mi MIX 2, which is powered with 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, has a flat off of Rs 3,000 and is being sold at Rs 32,999 from its original price of Rs 35,999. The Redmi 5A and Redmi Y1 smartphones can be bought starting at Rs 4,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively. Mi Power Bank 2i with 1000mAh capacity can be bought at Rs 799, down from Rs 1,199. The Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini is priced at Rs 899 which is Rs 400 down from the original price. The Mi In-Ear headphone Pro will be priced at Rs 1,799 after getting a discount of Rs 200 during the sale. You can buy a wide range of smartphones and also claim discount coupons including few products at Rs. 1. The Mi Band HRX Edition Black will be available at Rs 1,299.
