United States President Donald Trump has said he would beat talk show trailblazer Oprah Winfrey if she ran against him in 2020. Trevor Noah can see it.
Following Oprah's inspirational and powerful Golden Globes speech, Ivanka Trump tweeted out her support of Time's Up.
"She stole the show with the nine-minute speech upon receiving the Cecil B. DeMille award for achievement and lit up Twitter with a surge of tweets carrying "#Oprahforpresident" and "#Oprah2020".
"So when I made a decision to talk with you, people around me were like, 'What's happened to you?'" she continued.
Speculation over her possible 2020 presidential bid reached a fever pitch after her widely praised Golden Globes speech.
However, her remarks about being raised in poverty, empowerment of women and support for the press (under constant criticism by Trump), quickly prompted even some conservative political figures to speak positively of her as a potential candidate. "They're the complete opposite!"
"I don't think she's actively considering it at this time", King said.

No clear Democratic front-runner has emerged to challenge Trump in 2020, with the immediate political focus in the US on November's congressional elections, when the 435-member House of Representatives will be up for election, along with a third of the 100-member Senate.
"In 1944, Recy Taylor was a young wife and mother walking home from a church service she'd attended in Abbeville, Alabama, when she was abducted by six armed white men, raped, and left blindfolded by the side of the road coming home from church". He jokingly forbade Winfrey from considering the presidency.
"We welcome the challenge, whether it be Oprah Winfrey or anybody else", said Mr Hogan Gidley.
As he wrapped up the event, a reporter asked "can you you beat Oprah?"
"It is not lost on me that at this moment there are some little girls watching as I become the first black woman to be given the same award", Winfrey said.
"I thought" "I don't know how I can".
"Oprah, of course, was very well-known - she had name recognition any politician would die for, including Trump", he said. It would require almost three years of grinding hard work - and in the end she might win, which would mean four more years of oppressive labor and crushing responsibility. But we should also be mindful that many people have underestimated Winfrey during the course of her long career.
