As reported by dailysocial.id, Nokia 8 is the company's fifth smartphone in the country after it previously released the Nokia 2, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. For the unaware, Google released the Android 8.1 Oreo update to its Pixel and Nexus devices back at the end of December 2017. The news of rollout comes on the back of a massive price cut for the Nokia 8 in India, making it now one of the lowest priced phones in the country to offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC.
The update weighs in at 1.5GB for the handset and comes with the latest February security patch. Having said that, as HMD Global is yet to announce anything officially, it is advisable to wait till the announcements at MWC 2018.

Android 8.1 Oreo was announced in December, 2017 and includes a number of new APIs and other improvements.
Lastly, the Nokia 9, which is also called Nokia 8 Sirocco, is said to be a flagship smartphone from HMD Global for this year, and hence, should be powered by Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 chip.
First and foremost is the Nokia 2's enormous 4,100 mAh battery which offers up to two days of juice on one charge.
The Nokia 9 is the third smartphone that is believed to be launched in India in the second quarter. Nokia 6 (2018) comes with dual view mode which will allow you to capture feeds from both front and rear camera at the same time.
