But don't think things are done for Black Ops 3 are done just yet, even if that game came out all the way back in 2015, as a significant update will soon add a free map and mode.

CharlieIntel reports that a tipster sent it images from Gamestop's internal database of listings for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 merchandise.

A new Call of Duty comes out every year, and the shooter is always the best-selling title of said year.

The aforementioned patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is 2.2 GB for PS4 and it's slightly bigger on the Xbox One with a size of 2.7 GB.

The second addition, Infected, is a game mode familiar to CoD players that sees one player drop in as an infected unit, who is tasked with infecting everyone else in the game by killing them.

Treyarch detailed what's included in the latest update, which should prompt automatically the next time you start up the game.

The Redwood map is also getting updated with a new, snowier version for chillier battles. The company should announce new info at its E3 2018 event in June. We have a clear idea that creator Treyarch has evidently stated that they are developing this year's game, Activision has not yet confirmed the game's title though.

The publisher is now trialling a version of the survival mode in Call of Duty: Online, the free-to-play PC title exclusive to China.

At this point, we don't have any particular information about what Black Ops 4 could be like, but a previous rumor hinted at it being "boots on the ground" same as WWII despite still having a modern times setting.
