US President Donald Trump told reporters on Friday that he might travel to Israel for the opening of a new US embassy there, located in Jerusalem.
"There is an apparent pattern of embassies moving to Jerusalem, and we have to start getting ready now", Gallant wrote, the Post said. That same day, Trump announced that he planned to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Trump said he had finally authorized $300,000 to $400,000 to be spent on the construction of the new embassy.
